With All Photography Studios (Tous les Studios Photographiques), completed in 2024, the studio opens the publication of the broader All series. The work reconnects the photographic medium as a means of representation to the local photography studio — the atelier where, since the 1840s, the concept of the photographic image was first conceived, produced, and reproduced. In an era of increasingly diversified, outsourced, and manipulated image production, the gesture of returning to that originary site raises fundamental questions about the ethics of photographic reproduction and distribution. The All series takes its name and logic from encyclopedic publications that claim to gather all examples of a given category into one volume: the title performs the pedagogical promise of completeness while simultaneously exposing its impossibility. A single studio is asked to stand in for all studios, all histories, all image‐making — and in that demand, the limits of representation become visible.
